The Latvian bank magnate owns 20 per cent of the club and plans to pump more money into the Seasiders.
He told the Blackpool Gazette: "Not only am I planning on staying with Blackpool, but I am currently considering the possibility of increasing my shares in the club.
"That obviously means my further involvement with the club's progression.
"It seems to me that somebody else is more aware of my current financial capital than me, as I personally have not noticed such a tragic loss.
"The economic situation which is going on in the world is not affecting my progress plans for Blackpool FC."
