It's been a tough couple of weeks for Jennifer Love Hewitt. First it was reports of her engagement being over.
And now the lady's been elbow-deep in another serious matter.
A judge in California has granted Jen's request for a three-year restraining order against a 62-year-old man, David Nolte, whom she alleges has been stalking her.
Reports say that in court Jen stated in her petition that David allegedly moved from Colorado to Los Angeles to be nearer to her.
Other documents produced in court included letters allegedly sent by Nolte.
Jen also stated she became even more fearful after she claims David appeared at her mother's house in December.
Just last week reports broke saying her engagement to Ross McCall had been called off.
When contacted by our LA reporter, Dionne Clarke, Jen's people told us there was 'no comment' about the engagement reports.
