We can finally sigh a big breath of relief, folks...
Because the marriage between Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil appears to be o-v-e-r. At last.
Yesterday, we heard natterings about an impending divorce between the troubled couple, but now we have official word.
Blake's lawyer confirmed last night that Blake's definitely filing for divorce.
Henri Brandman released a statement citing that Blake will seek on the grounds of adultery.
"I can confirm that I have been instructed to commence divorce proceedings," he said.
The news comes after Amy's explosive interview with News Of The World where the singer slammed her jailbird hubby.
In the interview, Amy clearly expressed ill feelings towards Blake, comparing him to her reported new love interest, Josh Bowman, whom the singer has been seen cavorting around the Caribbean island of St Lucia with of late.
"I've finally escaped from hell. I'm in love again and I don't need drugs. Look at me, I'm glowing. Especially as I met Josh here. He couldn't be more different from my husband, which is not a bad thing.
"Blake looks like me, a right mess," she continued. "But Josh is all handsome and clean and that's what I love about him."
So, it appears that the interview was the final nail in the coffin for Blake, who reportedly instructed his lawyer to commence proceedings after seeing pics of Amy and Josh together.
Amy's spokesperson confirmed the singer has in fact got the papers: "Papers have been received, and the matter is with Amy's lawyers."
The split is set to be a shaky one, with the couple known to be fond of airing their dirty laundry.
It'll also be interesting to see how much of Amy's large fortune Blake will be seeking.
Let the games begin...
